Getting Started

What is Paigon?

Paigon is a skill-based competitive gaming platform. You compete against real opponents in lobbies of pure skill — no luck, no random outcomes, no house edge. You can play for free or enter paid lobbies where the winner receives the combined entry pool minus a small 2% platform fee.

Is Paigon gambling?

No. Paigon is not gambling. Every match on Paigon is decided entirely by player skill — reaction time, decision-making, and game knowledge. All players receive the exact same game conditions, generated deterministically. There is no element of chance involved in outcomes. Paigon operates as a skill-gaming platform, which is legally distinct from gambling in most U.S. jurisdictions.

Do I need an account to play?

You can try the free practice mode without an account in some games. To play competitive matches (including free-entry matchmaking against other players) and to track your stats and points, you need a free account.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and participate in paid competitions on Paigon. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Paigon Credits (PC)

What are Paigon Credits?

Paigon Credits (PC) are the currency used on the platform. 1 PC = $0.10 USD. You deposit USD and it converts to PC at a rate of $0.10 per PC (10 PC = $1.00). When you win a paid match, you receive PC which you can withdraw back to USD at any time.

How do I add credits to my account?

Go to your Account page and click "Add PC." Deposits are processed securely through Stripe using your credit or debit card. The minimum deposit is $5.00 USD (50 PC).

Can I play without depositing money?

Yes. Paigon has a Free lobby where you can compete against other players with no entry fee and no prize — just for the competition and to climb the leaderboard. Practice runs (solo mode) are also free, with a daily limit for non-dev accounts.

Do my credits expire?

No. Your Paigon Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing.

Deposits & Withdrawals

How do I withdraw my winnings?

Go to your Account page and click "Withdraw." You may be required to verify your identity before your first withdrawal. Withdrawals are processed to your verified payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider.

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?

Yes. The minimum withdrawal is $5.00 USD (50 PC). This helps cover payment processing costs.

Why do I need to verify my identity to withdraw?

Identity verification (KYC) is required to prevent fraud and to comply with financial regulations. You may be asked to provide a government-issued ID and confirm your name, date of birth, and address. This is a one-time process.

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are generally non-refundable once converted to Paigon Credits and used in competition. Unused credits may be withdrawn at any time. If you believe there was an error with your deposit, contact us immediately at contact page.

Gameplay & Fairness

How are matches fair if all players in the lobby play the same game?

In every match, all players receive an identical game state — the same maze layout, the same starting conditions, the same obstacles. The game state is generated from a shared seed (the room code), so it's mathematically impossible for one player to have an easier version of the level than the other. The only variable is each player's skill.

What is the platform fee (rake)?

Paigon charges a 2% service fee on paid matches. It is deducted from the combined entry pool before the winner is paid. Example: three players each enter a $1.00 match. Combined pool = $3.00. Platform fee = $0.06 (2%). Winner receives $2.94. This fee is shown clearly before you confirm entry into any paid lobby.

What happens if my opponent disconnects mid-match?

If an opponent disconnects, the match result is determined based on game state at the time of disconnect. In most cases, the remaining player is awarded the win. If a technical error on our end caused the disconnect, contact support and we will investigate.

What is the bot trial?

Before entering any paid lobby, you are required to complete one free trial match against a bot. This ensures you understand the game mechanics before entering a paid lobby. You only need to complete the trial once per game.

What is the points system?

Points are how your competitive record is tracked on Paigon. Every paid match win earns you 20 points — points are never deducted for losses. Your total points determine your rank badge (Recruit → Contender → Skilled → Veteran → Expert → Elite → Legend).

Account & Safety

Can I have more than one account?

No. Each person is permitted one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, manipulate matchmaking, or exploit bonuses is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in permanent bans on all associated accounts.

What if I suspect someone is cheating?

Report it to us via the contact page with as much detail as possible (opponent name, match time, what you observed). We take fair play seriously and investigate all reports.

How do I close my account?

To request account deletion, contact us at contact page with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days. Any remaining credit balance must be withdrawn or forfeited before deletion is finalized.

Is my payment information stored on Paigon?

No. Paigon never stores your card number, CVV, or banking details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Paigon only stores a tokenized reference to your payment method.
