Restricted States

Last updated: June 2026

Paigon operates skill-based competitive gaming with Paigon Credits (PC). While skill-gaming is legally distinct from gambling in most U.S. states, certain states have laws that restrict or prohibit paid skill competitions. We are required to restrict paid features in those jurisdictions.

Why Are These States Restricted?

Each state's laws are interpreted differently with respect to skill-based gaming. Some states define "gambling" broadly enough to include any competition involving an entry fee and prize, regardless of the skill involved. Others have not yet established clear legal frameworks for skill-gaming platforms. We restrict these states out of an abundance of caution and in order to operate responsibly and within the law.

This list reflects our current legal assessment and is subject to change as state laws evolve. We actively monitor legislation in all 50 states and will update this list — expanding or contracting access — as the legal landscape changes.

Circumventing Restrictions

Attempting to bypass state restrictions by using a VPN, providing a false address, or otherwise misrepresenting your location is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. Any account found to have circumvented restrictions will be immediately terminated and any deposited funds will be forfeited.
